I first read this book when I was about 8 years old, and even though I didn't understand all the concepts of the story I
still found the book amazingly beautiful. Years later when reading the book again I realised how well written the book was. The way it
captures your heart and imagination from the very first page. The book tells the story of a young foal called black beauty and his life as he grows up. The book captures the trials and tribulations of his life taking you through some intensly terrifying as well as exciting adventures. There are some very sorowful parts to this book, and even though parts of the book upset me and moved me
deeply. I found that I didnt want the book to end and even today it has left itself deeply ingrained in my memory of one of those books that you will never forget.
