Gulliver’s first travel.
It is an eighteenth century classic
of English literature .It consists of the accounts of four major travels of Lemuel Gulliver to the strange nations of remote lands of the world.

In the course of first travel, Gulliver took a job of surgeon on a ship called Antelope which was to make a voyage to the south sea from

.

But soon after the beginning of the voyage the ship was overtaken by a violent storm and perished in the sea .Only Gulliver, from all the peoples escaped from death and managed to swim ashore. Feeling exhausted, he fell asleep near the seashore.

When Gulliver woke up, he found himself in chains and surrounded by a crowed of tiny creature. These six inched figures were carried smallest bows and arrows. This was the land of dwarfs called Lilliputian first the Lilliputians were terrified by the hugeness of Gulliver and did not free him from chains but afterwards they feed him and made arrangements to take him in the court of their king. It was a difficult task to carry a giant like man but the Lilliputians done it in excellent manners. When Gulliver along with the Lilliputians reached to the metropolis, the king of Lilliput, accompanied by his family and courtiers came to see him. Gulliver was thoroughly searched before the king. They were surprised to see the strange things of Gulliver. Particularly, the do not understand the use and purpose of Gulliver’ pistol. Then, fired two shots, all the Lilliputians fell down on the ground. When some Lilliputians shoot arrows at him; he caught several of them in his hand and could have crushed them to death, but he freed them and this act made the king friendly towards him. Then he was admitted in the
land
of
Lilliput
as a guest. So, Gulliver finds an excellent opportunity to observe the life and society of this land. Except the size and stature, Lilliputians had all the accomplishments of normal human beings. There were all the human instincts like love, hate, jealousy, malice and conspiracy. They had strange religious creed but their politics was quite like us.

Later, Gulliver lends his assistance to the king and the government of Lilliput against the
island
of
Blefusco
which was hostile against them and won the war by crushing the enemy fleet. But most of the courtiers dislike Gulliver’s involvement in the matters of their court. Gulliver, after; discovering a conspiracy against himself, one day fled from Lilliput and entered in Blefusco. The king of Blefusco warmly welcomed him. After some days, Gulliver comes to know that the king of Lilliput demanded him back from the king of Blefusco .Thus Gulliver thought it necessary to leave this land. So, he ran away from the land and some miles away he found a boat. In the sea he fortunately, found a ship and eventually returned safely to his homeland.
