What
amazed me about St. Exupery''''s The
Little Prince is that The Little
Prince could have been happy staying in his planet, handling his
little problems, managing his little kingdom. But he decides to take
a chance, to travel, he became disappointed with the
people he met in
the other planets, yet he took that small step away from his private
chrysalis and bottom line, he touched a lot of hearts. I''''m reminded
when I
travel that most of the time, I am one of those people who are
always in a hurry, riding trains but seem to not know where they''''re
going. That''''s sad and pathetic. Pope John Paul II is also very
endearing because he decided to travel to the ends of the world to
preach God''''s Word. he could have stayed safe in Vatican but he chose
to go.
