This book is very fancy indeed. It has a fancy cover; it has a fancy blank pages* and, finally, it has a fancy ‘This Book Belongs To…’ page! So as you can see, it is very posh! It is part of a fancy collection of books called ‘Classic Adventures’. This series includes ‘The Railway Children’ (this great book), ‘The Prisoner of Zenda’ and The Children of the New Forest**. Here is a little bit about the book and author: This book’s author, E. Nesbit, has written other stories: ‘The Five Children & It’ and ‘The Phoenix & the Carpet’. The plot of the story is about three children called Roberta, Phillip and Phyllis, who are all siblings. Find out about their adventure… KEY: * = the pages are not at all blank but merely have a marble effect to make those ones look even fancier. ** = I have only mentioned those three because they are the only ones that I have at home and have reviewed on Shvoong.
