The Prisoner of Zenda

Book Review   by:Mej1     Original Author: Anthony Hope
ª

This book is very posh indeed. It has a posh cover; it has posh blank pages* and, finally, it has a posh ‘This Book Belongs To…’ page! So as you can see, it is very fancy! It is part of an elaborate collection of books called ‘Classic Adventures’. This series includes ‘The Railway Children’, ‘The Prisoner of Zenda’ (this book), and The Children of the New Forest**. Here is a little bit about the author: The author of this book, Anthony Hope, has also written other stories like ‘Little Tiger’ and ‘Rupert of Hentzau’. Did you know that Anthony Hope is actually Sir Anthony Hope and he was knighted in 1918? KEY: * = the pages are not at all blank but merely have a marble effect to make those look even fancier. ** = I have only mentioned these three books because they are the only ones I have on my book case and have reviewed on Shvoong.
