That book describes polish nobility in XIX century. Action ot epic is in polish home near wilno( today that area depend to litva).Majority of Polish sociality thought that Napoleon help us in obtaining independence. Majority of nobelmen dreamt about this,but part of polish nobility didin' think about that too. They lived in 'other world'. They thought about west countries. They chose living for example in france or russia tha think over matherland. The worried about onw future. The most important for them was safety and money. They were anti-patriotic. On the beginning that epic is detailed description typical polish hause and nature. author described peysage/nature. Later came Tadeusz to home. He was in school abroad earlier. So,when he came then he noticed a lot of diffrent changes. In his room lived some other women. on the beginning he was disappointed. In the same day in that house was big party, then host invited whole nobility who lived near that place and family. They were talking about future,marriages etc. Tadeusz was to marry with aunt. He was happy. There was some artist who was to inherit big castle. Unfortunately that castle didin'd depend to him,because that family wasted this monumenr a few years earlier. The wasted this,because one member Soplica killed general host. He was very angry for him,because he obtained black soup. That meant that family refused his engaging with their daughter. They loved each other,but they didin't. So one day came there russian military. They wanted to win with that family. This family fighted about independence and castle too. Then Jacek Soplica wondered to help russians in spite of he wanted to independence of Poland. He was very furious then,therefore he did. Then he obtained that castle from Russians. They treated him as hero. Unfortunately his fiance died a fewa days later too. She was pregnant, she remained him their common sohn. He was very happy,but he couldn't survive that she died. So he gavethat sohn to own brother. He was to look after and bring up that sohn. In the same time he went to church. He became the priest. This sohn didin't know that he had other father. His brother was the judge. So Tadeusz lived in unconsciousness.
He and his aunt(telimena) spent a lot of time each other. That all saw Horeszko's member(artist). He fell in love with Telimana.BUt after a few days tadeusz wanted to get to know ho is that girl,who lived then in his room. After a few days,he understood he fell in love with her. Then he avoided Telimena. He was very angry for him. He wanted to spend a lot of time with her. They spent that time romantically. That artist wanted to be neat telimena then, he had an ocassion.In the meanwhile judge nitoced that the loved each other. So he went to telimena to talk about their marrying,but she disagreed.In the same time horeszko's family and soplica's family were fighting about this castle. Afew days later to Soplica's hause came polish military,They had to take them to hause. The drunk at night a lot of vine. so they were drunk in morning. In the same time that priest( jacek Soplica) tried to persuade aerial strongmsn to fight with russians. He was sick then,so he went to Soplica's home. He was enought sick to die in the nearest time. So finally he admitted he was Tadeusz's father. Judge couldn't recognize him. He died. Tadeusz wondered to marry with her. At last telimena had to agree. Telimena was with that nobleman (artist)<who lived in France.She liked France and other countries. He couldn't understand patriotism rest people. That was enough complicated to understand for her. Tadeusz married with her. Earlier there was fighting about owner of castle, but none family didin't win. So they had to know,that depended to soplica's family. In the end when the married,then that castle depened to all, because his wife that was member ogf HOreszko's family. She was brought up by aunt, because their family was murdered.In the end all were happy. Tadeusz didin't get to know whose was he sohn.
