Dantès is initially
a generally well-liked sailor who is inexperienced - but not in his profession - and seems to have everything going for him, including a beautiful fiancée Mercédès and an impending promotion to ship's captain. Dantes has a friend known as Fernand Mondego and also the suitor of her fiancee Mercedes. their is a man name Baron Danglars who is very jealous to him because he became a captain of the ship one day Danglars call Fernand and he said to fernand that they will put edmund to jail and suffer for how many years.And when the time come Edmund got to jail in Chateau d'If he suffered a lot. Edmund did'nt no tice that he has a companion in the cell it is a very old man. And they became friends and one day when the time comes the old man died but the old man give a small map to Edmund Dantes. Edmund Dantes escape to the prison and he go to the place where the map says..and there he is surprise and amaze because there are many treasure..and he says to him self that he will got revenge to his enemies. He buy a mansion in Spain where mercedes live. And he found out that Mercedes is married with his bestfriend and the one of his enemy Fernand Mondigo. He got revenge to his enemies danglars got to prison and he fight fernand fo Mercedes..He is now a Powerful man in spain and he is known as The Count Of Monte Cristo. He is Very happy when fernand die because he will marry mercedes..and they live happily ever after.
