I guess this would be the post without any recipes. Haha, unless my landlord decides to give me the recipe of the lamb curry
*hint hint* Anyway, there was a dinner “
party” a few days back and we had some amazing food
AND desserts. There’s indian lamb
curry, chickpeas, soy sauce eggs, peas, dahl, pappadum, roti canai. And for
dessert, there’s chocolate fondue, blueberry muffins and vanilla cream pots.
Confession : Ok, the desserts are probably not anywhere near Indian desserts.. Chickpeas salad with onion and red capsicum (I reckon that’s) tomatoes. I dont really eat much of chickpeas but this time around, I had quite a fanciful serving of it!! And there’s also some dahl from me!
Soy egg and peas. Eggs! no one can go wrong with eggs, even if its just soy sauce egg, i still ate alot of it! because I’m an egg-person. (NOT the one in Australian Idol audition OK !)
Lamb curry with roti canai and pappadum. Roti canai were bought from the frozen section. Lets have a closer look of the lamb curry.
Mmm.. we could already open our own mamak at home! haha.
and pappadummm di dums.. So easy yeah, just lightly spray some oil, pop it into the microwave, 45 seconds later.. tada! done! I should bring from Malaysia since it’s quite expensive over here.. But then again, I can’t bring the whole market, can I ?
*burn fire burn!!* Its Vanilla cream pots. It’s something like creme brulee but this one has cornflour in it. It’s a recipe from Donna Hay.
Chocolate Fondue with assorted fruits. I know that’s a badly photographed picture..
*apologies* Well, I had some couverture chocolate I got from school Ha Ha Ha …
*ssshhhhh* Ok, better. We seem like we’re having a dessert feast instead, huh ??
There were 6 of us, certainly just one type of dessert isn’t enough to complete the meal right ?
Freshly baked blueberry muffins. Oh yeah, there would be a recipe actually. I made this from the Donna Hay cookbook, I’ll put up the recipe right away..ok, maybe the next post. aight?
Ok
And then, we had alot of dishes to wash!
