3 c. flour1 tsp. soda2/3 tsp. salt1 1/3 c. butter1 c. sugar1 c. packed brown sugar2 tsp. vanilla2 lg. OR 4 sm. eggs2 tbsp. cream1 c. chopped nuts1 pkg. chocolate chips
Instructions:
Blend all ingredients, Grease cookie sheet lightly. Bake at 375 degrees, 1st batch for approximately 8 minutes, following batches for approximately 6 minutes each. Centers will be chewy.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).Cream together the butter, white sugar, and brown sugar until smooth. Beat in the eggs one at a time, and then stir in the vanilla. Dissolve baking soda in hot water. Add to batter along with salt. Stir in flour, chocolate chips, and nuts. Drop by large spoonfuls onto un-greased pans. Bake for about 10 minutes in the preheated oven until edges are nicely browned.
