The Oxford First Dictionary

Book Review   by:Mej1     Original Author: unknown

The Oxford First Dictionary is the ideal introduction to using a dictionary. It has clear easy to read simple instructions for new words, showing how to spell them correctly and how they are used in everyday sentences. There are hundreds of pictures to aid the definitions and give more support in understanding the dictionary entries. You can also find further information on fruits, vegetables, shapes and colours, animals and more at the rear of the book.

This is a perfect tool for reading and writing support in school and/ or at home. It is suitable for 5+ and with over 1500 words I can guaranty everyone will benefit from having a quick glance at the book whether it is a definition or spelling of a word or the name of a plant or something at the illustrated section at the back.
