Coincidences, Chaos and All That Math Jazz

Book Review by: FionaByers

Original Author: Edward B. Burger & Michael Starbird
My husband took t5his book out of the library for me to read.  I think he was trying to improve my intellect.
It discusses mathematical chaos.
The first part of the book, I could comprehend.  There is a butterfly theory that says the flutter of a butterfly can affect weather condition.  There is a ponder about what would happen if two rabbits were put in a closed room.
I started to feel I was out of my element when the book started to talk about golden rectangles.  Geometry was never my strong suit.  When the book reached oragmie I  skimmed to the end.
This book is good for anyone no matter what their skill in math is.  I might take it out of the library again.
