Book entitled "Love and Sex in the Prophet's Life" is a book that explains about sex from the perspective of true Islam that
can be used as references to a healthy sexual life. Passan Rashad's book contains a variety of sex positions and orgasms. In this book, Rashad model sexual life of Prophet Muhammad SAW is perfect from a healthy sex life. Rashad also explains how the Prophet Muhammad's relationship with the wife who is considered as an example of a healthy sex life earlier.
The book "Love and Sex in the Prophet's Life" a lot of protests, especially in Egypt and is considered derogatory and insulting the Prophet Muhammad. A religious station broadcasting in Egypt is also the opinion of the scholars who criticized the book and criticized the author was an apostate. They also stated that the author punishable by death. According to the Egyptian parliament members from the independent, Mustafa al-Gindi, the contents of the book insulting Prophet Muhammad and his wives, especially Aisha. "The book contains various parts of sex positions and orgasms, which is not really feasible for a book bearing the name of Prophet Muhammad in the title," said al-Gindi.
Responding to the strong reaction that, Rashad argued that he only wanted to explain about sex from the real Islamic perspective that can be used as references to a healthy sexual life. "When I mentioned the name of Prophet Muhammad SAW, I only meant to show how his relationship with his wives, which is a perfect example of a healthy sex life," said Rashad.
Rashad says he's not an apostate and will not abuse the Prophet Muhammed. In contrast, Rashad said, he wanted to deny the myth propagated the enemies of Islam, who described the Prophet Muhammad as a figure who was obsessed with women.
