In the book Eragon, there is a young boy who lives with a farmer family. He was out hunting, about to hit his target, when there was a flash. When he went to investigate, There was an egg lying there. However, he thought it was a stone.    He tried to trade it for meat, but the town butcher, Sloan, did not accept it, just because it came from a mysterious mountain range, named The Spine. But, then Katrina, Sloans daughter, and Horst, a smith, marched in. They argued about the trade, Until Horst payed for the meat. One cannot explain this whole book in one night, but if I could, I would have. This book is unexplainably addicting, and full of detail. At first, I was actually reluctant to read it. But I had nothing else to read. Then, I was sucked in. Christopher Paolini knew what he was writing. It was almost as if it really had happened. I don''t understand why people create anti Eragon websites, stating it''s too much like other books. It''s actually unique. I think it''s as good as Harry Potter. But, these are my opinions, and they are for you to decide Truth or False. Here is a bit of my favorite part of the book:    The warriors stiffened; grips tightened on weapons. No one moved... No one breathed. Somewhere a horse nickered.    Harsh Urgal shouts shattered the air as dark shapes boiled upward in the tunnel''s opening. At a command, the the cauldrons of pitch were tilted on their sides, pouring the scalding liquid into the tunnel''s hungry throat. The monsters howled in pain, their arms flailing. A torch was thrown onto the bubbling pitch, and an orange pillar of greasy flames roared up in the opening, engulfing the Urgals in an inferno. Sickened, Eragon looked across Farthen Dûr at the other two battalions and saw similar fires by each. He sheathed Zar''roc and strung his bow.
