To go beserk

To go beserk is to work ONESELF up into a frenzy over something. Originally, it referred to Viking warriors working themselves into a fighting fever and went into unnecessary batteles recklessly, without armour, to show their contempt for the foe, cladding only in a 'berserkr' which was their bearskin coat becoming dangerous if attack was not of prevention after they provoked someone who was prepared without their knowledge to come closer peacefully.

<P>

They had been moving beserk or GOING beserk down the hills and uphills. The phrase ensures we are taking thoughts all the time for pandemonium and other communication businesses.
