being wicked
Nefi wanted to understand his father and he wanted to know if his teachings were true and they
were but he didn't know it until one night. Nefi left his tent and prayed to God. Just then Nefi heard a voice and told him that he was faithful for coming to him to ask if what his father said was true. The lord also told him that if his
brothers did not obey and rebel with there father he would become leader over his brothers even through he was the youngest brother of them all. When he heard these things he went to his tent to tell his brothers what he had heard. Nefi told his brothers what he had heard Sam believed him but Laman and Lemuel did not they started to think he was as foolish as they're father was. then Nefi told his brothers that if they keeped Nefi would become leader over his brothers. This made his brothers made but not Sam. Sam was filled with the spirit. The next Day Lehi was told by the lord to send his four sons to get the brass
plates from a wicked man named Laban which was Lehi's cousin the brass plates had important history and records of Lehi's forefathers and contained the words of the true God which was the lord. Laman and Lemuel didn't want to get the brass plates from laban because they new that laan was a powerful person and he also had guardsto protect him. It was to hard to do because they did not have faith in the lord.
Nefi wanted to obey the lord and knew that the lord would help him and his brothers. So then Nefi and his 3 brothers went back to jerualem to get the brass plates. so then laman went to ask for the brass plates Laban became very mad guards ran after them but he made it when he went to his brothers he was afraid of going back laman told his brothers what had happened to him. Nefi couldn't return without the brass plates then he had an Idea when they left they left all there riches they desided to ask laban to trade the brass platesfor there gold and silver. when they showed it to laban he didn't want to trade but he wanted to the gold and sliver for him self so he threw them out.
