WANT TO BE SUCCESSFUL?
Hold on to your dreams & they are bound to come true if there is one person who was living proof of this belief, it was Dhirubhai Ambani. Today, the world knows him as a highly acclaimed achiever and creator of India’s spectacular world – scale plants. Most people must be aware that he came from an ordinary middle-class family. Just a matriculate, he set sail to Aden where he worked with A.Besse & co. who was a distributor for Shell. It was while he was selling lubricants and oil samples to the ships docked in Aden harbour that he first had a glimpse of what he really wanted to do- build a refinery of his own one day. It is undeniable that Dhirubhai was a man of exceptional calibre, and possesed uncannny vision but more importantly he had phenomenal determination to never let go of his dream. The temptetions to do so I ‘M SURE were enormous he focused on his strengths – his willingness to learn, his capacity for enormous hardwork, his quickness to pick up market information, his ability to respond with lightning speed and forged his way ahead.
We can see how Dhirubhai was able to make his impossible dream come true when you want something so badly, the universe, as Paul Coelho puts it, nudges you in right direction and conspires to make it come true. Your earnings gives you a certain sense of clarity that helps you see beyond obstacles and arms you with the knowledge that these roadblocks are only temporary. Often people give up on their dreams only because they are unable to see beyond the here and now.
But to get the universe on your side, you will have to hold on fast to your dreams even though you encounter many people, very often in the guise of well-wishers, and many situations that will try and take your dream away from you. Hold on fast, know your strength and you can make the most possible dream of yours come true.
