Why did I choose to raise a cat, and how was I proven false

How to train cats behave right.
Cats.
They are as independent as hell. That's why I wanted to adopt a cat. I really thought of getting a dog, at first. But then I don't have a yard, so the thought of taking him for a walk 3-4 times a day – Hell, I don't take myself to the bathroom 4 times a day… And then it occurred to me that cats take them selves for "a walk". That's when I realized I'm a "cat person".
So I got a cat.
And then the cat got my carpets, sheets, floor, clothing, furniture and what not. I had to learn how to make him behave so I could keep him. That's how bad it got to. I've searched the net for hours. It took me forever to find what I was looking for just because there is so much information. Eventually I decided to go with the experts, and I got on the internet just one book that had it all written down. The book's name is "Cat behavior secrets revealed". This was a guide to how to train cats, how to feed them right and how to take care of illnesses they might get.
It worked just like magic. I finally realized the right psychological-behavioral way to "talk" to cats. If you had the same trouble like mine, you might want to try that kind of help.
By the way, there is no happier than me now (or happier than my cat).
Cheers!
