50 Ways to Make Google Love your Website is a book written by Steve Johnston and Liam McGee from Search Johnston, two search engine pros, that have specialized in Google in particular.
I have been working with SEO for a few years now, and I also read SEO blogs on a regular basis, and have been doing so for years, so for me, this book didn't really include a lot of new information. But it is the perfect book for those who want to learn more about SEO, since it:
1. Only includes so called White Hat techniques, and nothing fishy or forbidden by Google, that might get your website into trouble.
2. It doesn't claim to give you a simple formula that guarantees success with Google. This is impossible anyway, and shows that the authors know what they are talking about.
3. It goes through all the basics, in a simple and easy way, so that anyone can improve their website SEO-wise after reading the book.
I can highly recommend this book for newbies to SEO, but for SEO experts, it is hardly a book that offers new knowledge, even though it can be good to freshen up your knowledge every once in a while too!
