I always was interested in having some kind of control over my environment. As a child I
always wanted to be a witch, a fairy or another powerful person of that kind,
just for this reason and now I still am very into esoteric subjects, paranormal
activity, psychic powers and other things that relate to what some people may
call magical and imaginative. I have studied Wicca and witchcraft in general, I
immersed myself into psychic powers such as cryokinesis, astral projecting and clairvoyance
and I have philosophed about this knowledge for a long time, but it always felt
as if the one thing that would bring it all together and be like the
centerpiece of my live philosophy was still missing.
But then, a couple of months ago I became acquainted with the law of attraction. The law of
attraction is the live philosophy of the rich and successful. I thought if they
are so successful they must do something right, so I began to read about it.
The law of attraction states that everything you think will become reality. It
is the idea that the universe is an infinitely abundant formless substance out
of which the whole of the world is created and that has as only goal to keep on
multiplying and creating new stuff. To do this there is thought, because when a
thought of something is oppressed on this formless substance it becomes the
thing from this thought.
And in this way man, by thinking, can also create his reality. So if we think in a positive
way about having something, like for example a hundred Euros, we will get it.
But if we want to get the hundred Euros but aren’t convinced we will get them,
the hundred Euros is there somewhere, but won’t get to us because we are
blocking it. This is the same with al negative emotions. If we for example are
really frustrated about a long line at the cashier of the supermarket and we
are constantly cursing in our self about this line and that it doesn’t move on,
we are actually creating more of it with this thoughts. So next time we are in
the supermarket there will be a long line.
First I didn’t really know what this was all about, but I was interested so I read the book
“The secret law of attraction: the road to universal wealth” by Sean Rasmussen.
After this I was so happy I wanted to jump in the air of joy. Finally I had
found my centerpiece I thought. Of course I wanted to know
more so I watched the famous documentary “the secret”. After this I was even more sure.
It really was what I had looked for so it felt. I wanted to learn more
because I too wanted to start manifesting my dreams and be successful. Where I
learned most was the Inspiration show of Natalie Ledwell.
On this online platform she gives viewers a ton ofinformation about the law of attraction,
visualization, manifesting etc. She also interviews people who have starred in the secret and are
well known now as law of attraction gurus. All this so her
viewers can get that final click that makes them suddenly understand it all.
Well, I don’t know if I have had this click already or not, but I have to tell you
something amazing happened today. Reading about the law of attraction I have
read of people who start with manifesting small things, like a new carpet or a
hundred Euros and move on to greater things as they begin to become better in
it. First it didn’t appear to be that important, but now I think I just did it!
Yesterday I, without even thinking about the law of attraction or manifesting,
I was thinking of razors. I thought that an electric type of razor was nothing
for me, because it couldn’t reach every angle and overall shave short enough. I
thought I had to stick to an manual razor, because that’s what I am used to
know, but that I maybe in the future had to try a more sophisticated type of
razor, like I had seen them in like Gillette commercials or something like
that. It was a brief thought because after a minute or two I was already
thinking about something else. Well, today, after school I was walking past the
staircase when my mother suddenly gives me a package. “It’s for you,” she said
and didn’t look anything more into it. Neither did I. I found it strange,
because I never get packages through the mail, but the package didn’t overwhelm
me with a wave of curiosity. It looked like something commercial, so it didn’t
look such a big of a deal.
I went to my room and opened the little package. It was Gillette Fusion razor. For a
moment I was shocked. I immediately remembered me thinking about it the day
before. I couldn’t resist smiling. I had just manifested.
