Despite my initial reservations about this genre, 'How to Overcome Shyness and Find the Woman of Your Dreams' really does do exactly what it says on the label - or rather, the 'cover'.It is actually a short course in Neuro Linguistic Programming, presented succinctly and very readably by a writer who is clearly an expert in this field. As such, it's price tag of just under US$20 looks very reasonable indeed, considering that you can pay many hundreds of dollars for NLP training. Overcoming shyness must indeed be a widespread and common condition, not only among young men (at whom this ebook is clearly aimed), but also among older people of both genders. It is therefore - at least intitially - a matter of some puzzlement as to why the author has confined himself to addressing males and I wonder if he should produce a similar work for women, who must suffer in similar ways. His reasons become clear as one progresses through the book: he is writing from his own, direct experience and therefore must write as one man to another. As such, he does an admirable job and I have rarely read anything in this genre that displays such a combination of clear, concise writing and genuinely useful information. Anyone - especially men - who find it difficult to approach women should read and study this book. Even if meeting women is not your priority, I think the sheer quality of the writing and the many insights offered into human nature make this a rewarding study for any reader, regardless of gender or age.
