Our freedom was won with great struggle and sacrifice after serving the foreign people for centuries. The strengthening and maintenance of freedom is therefore more difficult than its attainment.

An immense burst of idealism and energy ,together with the twin ideas of secularism and democracy is needed among our youth.The young men is filled with an immense reservoir or energy that if properly canalized can prove to be a great source of power for the nation.
The youth must equip themselves in several distinct dimensions.The first is the PHYSICAL.Building a great democracy and defending it from predatory aggressors require a young generation that is physically strong with muscles of iron and nerves of steel,and must equip itself by undertaking physical training and developing physical fitness.
The second dimension is the INTELLECTUAL.We live in a highly competitive age ,and can no longer afford the luxury of mediocrity if we are to go forward.This rapidly changing nuclear age requires our youth to be intellectually far more alert and competent than their predecessors,and so ,every young man and woman today studying in schools ,colleges and universities must aim at academic ability of the highest order.
The third dimension is PATRIOTISM.There should be a deep urge for national unity and progress.This alone can eradicate corruption and nepotism from our land.
The fourth dimension is SPIRITUALTY ,which is the main faculty that distinguishes human being from other forms of life.At a time of deep crysis,we must be endowed with a new spiritual fervor leading to fearlessness and dynamism,whereby we can overcome all difficulties.
The younger generation today faces more consequences than their forefathers.Therefore,all the above dimensions should be satisfied to become successful.
