How is your life for the past ten to twenty years? Is there a moment in your life when you felt exhausted, fatigued
and drained as if entrapped in a repetitive situation and nothing much changed? No amount of scientific method, self-improvement program and any other course of action could transform a man. Why, because only God can do the impossible and change a man of his total being, provided the man is a willing vessel to let God be in control of his life. Many characers in the New Testament of the Holy Bible have testified this
transformation in their life. That was the time of Jesus Christ Ministry on Earth. The story told us, that those people who made a personal encounter with Jesus Christ began to marvel, listen, believe and follow have transformed to become a new person with a new aspiration and finally a new being. Peter was a lowly fisherman before he met the Lord, but Jesus Christ made him " fishers of men" a spiritual leader of all men. Mary Magdene, a harlot who was about to be stoned to death met the Lord and was saved from the raging mob. She was forgiven and followed the Lord, then started a turn around of herrself and lived clean honest life. Paul an educated activists, committed for a cause yet a terror enemy of the Christians after Christ resurrectioned. When Jesus Christ appeared to him like a searing light Paul was blinded, seemingly the Lord wanted to show him that he really was a blind follower of the doctrine that hated Christians for worshipping Jesus Christ. but later Christ restored his sight in a way which later enjoined him to Christian community and became their great and passionate leader. His
testimony of how the Spirit of the Lord renewed his heart and mind also became the best teaching on transformation. and how to experience a Spirit renewed life. The testimonies of these great characters of the New testament were being experienced also by the present day Christians as what the Scriptue says, Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever. If He has done miracle during His time on earth He is still the same Jesus Christ who saves and performs miracles today. .
