Book Review by: Mej1

Original Author: Saniyasnain Khan
The Quran is the Holy book for Muslims, just like the Bible for Christians and the Torah for Jews, and it is very long, and
quite hard to understand too. So now, for young children there are these brilliant books! They have two favourite tales made short and put together. The stories in this book are called ‘The Sons of Adam’ and Travels of Ibrahim (or Abraham)’. The first tale is about how Adam and Hawwa (Eve)’s two boys – Habil (Abel) and Quibil (Cain). It is about how Quibil killed Habil when Allah (God) didn’t accept the eldest brother’s offerings but did with the younger ones. The second story isn’t as well-known as the first; it is about Ibrahim (Abraham), his wife, Hajar (Hagar) and their son Ismail (Ishmael). It is about how Hajar and Ismail were left in the dry, hills while Ibrahim went to do Allah’s work. About how the little baby was thirsty and Allah caused a miracle to happen – water spouted up from beneath the crying child! This book is good and I would rate it 10/ 10. I would recommend it to all Muslim children.
