The "Book of Ephesians" is the letter of Paul to the churches in Ephesus
The apostle Paul
addresses this letter to
the churches in Ephesus, a port city on the western shore of Asia Minor, the modern-day Turkey.) During Paul's time, this was one of the largest city in the Roman Empire, an ancient centre of nature religion, widely worshipping the goddess Artemis.
Paul begins his letter to the to the Christians in Ephesus with a powerful reminder of the main theme of his message, that Christ died on the cross to set us free. (Chapter 1 verses 7 and 8) But God raised Christ from death, and he now sits at God's right side in heaven, where he rules over the world. And he will rule over the future world as well.
The "Book of the Galatians" consists of 6 chapters and include the following: Paul's
greetings of spiritual blessings with a prayer, a new life in unity with Christ, Paul's mission to the Gentiles and his love for us, relationships – between wives and husbands, parents and children, masters and slaves, and his final greetings.
Paul talks about God's eternal plan: Jesus Christ brought together the Jews and the Gentiles by "breaking down the wall of hatred" only to unite them all as part of the holy temple with the Spirit of God lives.
The kindness of God is imparted by Paul as he teaches the church in Ephesus how to live together as Christians.
