Haunted

Book Review by: MoneyMePlease

Original Author: Chuck Palahniuk
Known for his gory writing, Chuck Palahniuk has quite possibly topped many other thrillers with
underline;">Haunted. This book starts off normal, leaving the reader thinking he/she might possibly be in the clear for a story filled with suspense, but no gore. However, Palahniuk fans understand that this is just his style and the gore is soon to come. Within the first two chapters, Palahniuk gains the interest of the reader and disgusts them at the same time with a story of one of the characters. Throughout the novel, a story about several writers trapped in a "writing experience" with no way out, each of the characters writes a poem or story about themselves and what makes them who they are, detailing a blood curling event in their life and why they left the world for this retreat. I don't want to give away too much of the book, but I do recommend Haunted, and give it 5 stars. So, read Haunted, and find out what happens to these writers as they remained trapped in their own hell.
