This book is about a 5000-year-old
vampire, who finds out that someone knows she’s a vampire. Once she’s contacted, she kills
Ray’s dad disposes of the body then becomes romantically involved with Ray. Collectively falling in love with him over time. She meets Seymour while playing Alisa Perne the innocent high school girl. Seymour is a little physic so they form a bond. Then Sita plans to meet whoever has been doing research on her. They meet at a beach, Sita
goes early to stake out the place and they come with over ten different armed soldiers. They order her to take a ride and she goes with it, only because she can’t jump over the ledge into the lake before they shoot her.
She goes with them, reading their minds while they are driving and planting ideas in there heads. She pretends like she has to pee and tells the men and women that she’s on her period and she’d pee all over the car if they didn’t let her out. They pull to an old gas station and they warn her not to run or she will be killed. They follow her into the bathroom and she kills them instantly dragging one male into the
woods by his neck. Leaving the woman in the bathroom with her brains splattered everywhere. The man she took in the woods tells her who sent them after her,
turns out to be the vampire that made her.
She returns home to ray, who wants to leave town before Yaska, the very first vampire,
comes to kill them both. Sita calms him and they make a plan to face him head on. Yaska comes over they talk and Yaska is tired of living and wants to kill Sita to end the race of vampires. Sita and ray agree to die by blowing up the house with them still inside. They set the
bomb for the next night. Before Yaska leaves he uses telepathy and pushes ray out the window forcing Sita to make him into a vampire. While ray turns into a vampire Sita rigs the bomb so that it will only kill Yaska because she doesn’t want to die. He comes as planned and they chat, they light the bomb and watch the fuse, ray is an awake now. Last minute Yaska allows Sita and Ray to run but they are slow, they are blown through the roof of the house and the piano let pierces Sita’s heart. Ray pulls it out and Sita Passes out.
