"Evidence of Insanity" is an amazing book. Once you start reading you're hooked. Piner's journey from childhood into her sixties is sometimes sad, tragic and heartbreaking but it is also filled with funny and emotional moments. Love plays a big role in her story, though it's not always endearing -- sometimes it is cruel and mind-boggling. But all along she's straight-forward and sees humor in the most outrageous events. She'll make you laugh. She makes friends for life and is not easily deterred. From the beginning Carol adores her mother and through disappointments and death her mother is her anchor - a love that never failed; it made her strong. At times she accepts the worst, however she fights for what's right.
She's an amazing woman and her book is a triumph of a steadfast belief in herself. This book, although it is not a literary piece, it is definitely one of the best books I've read lately. Everyone should read this book because it will open your eyes, your mind and your heart.
You will not be disappointed; believe me! I'm certain her book will make the bestseller list.
