THE HOLY SIN

A young man decides to become a priest and joins a famous abbey. The novice started his training. The abbey was headed by an abbot , well known for his knowledge and piety. He was a man of God, who extracted strict discipline and hard work from each of his disciples. The abbot spent most of his time in teaching and training the youngsters and in prayer and meditation. He exhorted the students to schedule their lifestyle based on his example.

The abbey had vast farm lands and private forests. One day our novice was sent out into the woods to gather firewood. There he found a very pretty girl in her late teens, gathering herbs. She was so voluptuous that the young man could not take his eyes off her succulent flesh. Soon he accosted the girl and started a conversation. Talking progressed to flirting. The pair liked each other and yearned for more intimacy and privacy.

On a convenient day, when most of the inmates were away, the novice smuggled the girl into his room and quietly bolted it from inside. The girl was told that they have to be very discreet, not to arouse any suspicion in anybody. Soon the intimacy led to ecstasy and the couple forgot all about the time and place.

The abbot was walking along the corridors and he heard some very unmonastic groans and moans from one room. The shrewd man knew what was happening and immediately halted his steps. He waited patiently outside, salivating on the chance to grab the offender red handed, when he comes out of the room.

The novice heard the footsteps outside and knew he was in trouble. But without losing his cool, he asked the girl to hide herself under the cot, quickly dressed up, opened the door and went out. He locked the door and took out the key. Just then the abbot moved up to him. Nonchalantly the youth told the abbot that he had to go out and collect some more firewood and handed over the key to the abbot.

The abbot was happy. He has the evidence safely locked up in the room and on his return the novice would be awarded a punishment which he would remember for the rest of his life. Anyway he would first examine the room and get to know the girl`s background. He unlocked the door and went in. he was dazzled by the ravishing beauty of the girl. Soon he forgot about the novice and felt this was a god sent opportunity, which he shall not miss at any cost. The girl soon yielded to his amorous requests.

The abbot was rather old and corpulent. He found the girl choking under his massive frame. Moreover his limbs were not supple enough for the vigorous task. So he asked the girl to mount and proceed with the job. The girl obliged. The ravishing beauty with her lithe limbs and gracious movements drove the abbot to bliss. All the while, our cunning novice was watching the show, hiding himself behind a window that was partly ajar.

Tired and fully satisfied, the abbot asking the girl to remain in the room, came out , locked the room and waited for the novice to return. The novice soon returned and faced the abbot. Now was the time to give the most solemn punishment to the errant youth. For deviant behavior like this deserved at least two weeks in solitary confinement. While he languished in the solitary cell, the abbot could enjoy the comely girl too.

The abbot gravely shot his first question to the novice- do you know the customs and practices of this house? The youth calmly replied- Holy father, I have learnt many of the prayers and chants. But I know I have much more to learn. Just now , seeing you satisfying the girl, I have learnt the proper method of entertaining a lass and in future I shall follow your example without fail.

The abbot found the novice matched his craftiness inch by inch. It is better not to antagonize a cunning devil like him. In the days ahead, the abbot and the novice worked hand in glove, smuggling the girl in and out.
