Book Review   by:Emily Foster     Original Author: Dick Francis

Dick Francis is the name that associates well for those who love good detective-stories. And it brings no disappointment this time as well.
John Kendall – a beginner book-writer, is in a really compulsory situation when he decides to accept the offer to write a biography of Tremayn Vicker. And from the very first minutes after he arrives to his new boss’es manor, he finds himself in the very middle of affairs which evoke strong emotions in people he’s among with. Emotions so strong that they can lead to a murder.
Among the people, about which it’s not quite clear who’s a friend and who’s a foe, only the young writer’s intellect and his specific abilities can help him to survive.
As usually, Dick Francis gives us a brilliant characteristics of racing horses’ breeders’ and horse races environment, as well as the whole variety of geniously pictured characters.
Vivid action and amazing intrique (unsolved almost to the very end) quarantee truly good entertainment.
