Whose report is the church believing? Any report that is contrary to Isaiah 53 is not church doctrine
On Thanksgiving Day 2005, at the river bridge in Royal, Alabama. My son Michael, who is a fireman left our dinner table to respond to a fire. Just a mile down the road from our house his fire truck wrecked, flipping three times, he was thrown out onto the bridge before his truck went over the rail down to the river bank. My other son T. C. was at the fire but left and came to the scene of the accident. He could not cross the bridge with his car so he ran across and got a truck on the other side and came to our house to tell us what happened. Immediately we all began to call out to the Lord and the Lord spoke to me words of Life. Whose report will you believe said the Lord? I replied, I believe your report alone. The Lord said again; don''t even believe a good report from man.
When I got to the ambulance the life flight helicopter was standing by, the Fire Chief hugged me and said Mike is gone. My Son T.C. came out of the ambulance crying saying he won''t respond, T.C. opened the door of the ambulance and told those inside let my Dad pray for my brother. I put my hand on his crushed head and said simply bless my son Lord, raise him up. Mike''s Spirit came into him with such force and power the E.M.T.''s could not hold him. They loaded him on the helicopter and rushed him to hospital. I stood there with such love for my God as I looked at the blood and brain matter on my hand that I laid on my Son''s head. For I knew he was in control.
The first report we received was that Mike would not make it. He had a fatal blood clot on his brain. I did not believe their report. They did their operation and it was a success, they brought us a good report, and I saw what the Lord meant by, don''t believe a good report from man. He''s stable and alive but. All of their reports were full of buts. I did not believe their reports, only the report of the Lord; with his stripes we are healed. There are no buts, only a finished work on the cross.
My son was made completely whole by the faith of Jesus Christ. Fifteen days later he was out of the Hospital and documented as a miracle by his surgeons and the Hospital.
Jesus went to the Cross and died so my son could live. God raised Jesus from the dead so that resurrection power could give life to my dieing son. Praise be unto God, and to his son Jesus Christ, to whom I owe such a debt, one I do not have to pay. Out of my faith that works by love alone, I willingly lay down my life, that Christ might live through me.
Many have asked me why I see miracles in my life and ministry, and I have to tell them it is because I look for them, I know the price that was paid for those miracles. The precious blood of God''s Son. It is the monetary value of the kingdom of God, the lost coin, and we should never give up until we find it. It''s
inscription reads in God we trust.
