Dexter by Design

Book Review   by:mikeyleeray     Original Author: Jeff Lindsay
ª

Ah, Paris, the City of Light. A little too light for a man like Dexter Morgan to spend some quality time with his Dark Passenger, especially on his honeymoon. But even amongst the dead treasures of the Louvre and the French food and the nights spent on the Seine pining under the moon for a Night of the Knife, Dexter manages to find an artist who piques his curiosity, an artist like, well, like him.

But it is not until his return to Miami that the real artistry begins, as four bodies turn up in the one day, all laid out on display for a horrified audience to see. At once Dexter realises that he is dealing with a killer like no other that even he has seen before. And he's seen a lot. And when he begins chasing him and makes a simple little mistake, a little murder here, a little revenge there, it is not long before Dexter becomes the target of a deranged artist's final masterpiece.
