The Girl With a Dragon Tattoo

Book Review   by:Delicatessen     Original Author: Steig Larsson
ª

The Girl with a dragon tattoo is the first of a trilogy written by the now deceased Swedish writer Steig Larsson.

Every year a very rich and powerful man receives flowers on his birthday. No sender. Henrik Vanger, the recipient, is convinced that this mysterious yearly offering has some link to his favourite niece’s disappearance (and possible death). All past investigations had ended in failure; the young girl had vanished without a trace. The girl had gone missing from an island inhabited solely by members of the Vanger family, furthermore, all access to the island had been blocked by an accident that day. Whatever happened to Harriet, somebody in the Vanger family knew… a classic whodunit mystery.
