Child psychologist Alex Delaware was invited a party of the sex therapist Paul Kruse where he meets Sharon Ransom, an alluring ex-lover whom he evades her as they met. Sharon corners him and all his conflicting emotions flood to the surface. She says she is not doing so well and wants to get together with him - just to talk. He agrees, but later, he regrets it and calls to cancel, leaves a message on her machine.  A few days later, Sharon was found dead which was an apparent suicide. Alex investigates the death of Sharon . He plunges into Sharon's secret past and discovers some disturbing experiences. Most of the scenes here were also flashbacks as Alex recalled their past while they were together 6 years ago. He also found out that Sharon was a victim of child abuse, which he concluded that caused Sharon many complications
