Both of the stories a short - literally five minute reads - and they are very different. The first one I read was called "Fragile". It is a brief account of a teenage girl's feelings when she finds out her Mum has cancer. It's written beautifully, with lots of emotion.
The second story is slightly longer, and completely different! Whereas Fragile could be read by people of all ages, "Deeper; Day One" is definitely for adults only. It is a short story with quite graphic detail of sexual and psychological abuse. I have to admit, I wasn't sure it was going to be my kind of story, but again, it was very well written . It centre's around a woman called Tess, and her client, Brian. Brian had been having sessions with Tess for some time, but what he didn't realise was that he was being "groomed". Tess has an ulterior motive, and has a list of clients she has targeted.
From what I can gather, there are seven stories all together, the next one, "Deeper; Second Chance" is supposed to be released soon I think, and I can't wait to read it!!
It's not very often you come across an author who can turn out such diverse work - Mo James can though!
