Joe is a gentle man but he isn’t very intelligent. At least it’s that the circle thinks. Single, perfect employee, two red fish like unique friends, he takes care of his mother who doesn’t stop to complain since his husband is died. But behind this appearance to be simple, Joe Middelton is a manipulator and controls the least of his gestures. He works like maid man to commissariat of Christchurch. A job who allows him to be informed of ongoing investigations. One of those hold a place particular in this heart: those of Butcher of Christchurch, accused to have commit seven murders in the dreadful conditions. Even if the similar elements tying all these affairs. Joe knows for a fact that all this women have not been killed by the same hand. And no one apart him is better placed for knowing that because it’s him, Joe, the serial killer! Joe wants to discover this one who copies him. And why not, in the same time, accused this one of other murders. But a killer, also harmless that he seems, can he stays unpunished? Joe goes discover it… at his expense.
