Stieg larsson was born in Northern sweden in 1954. He worked in a post office for a couple of years, and then he was a graphic designer at a multimedia news provider in Sweden, and then his last place of employment was at a newspaper called the Expo. He was a left-wing activist in the mid-70's and then he later became a right-wing activist and became an expert at right wingism. He and his girlfriend lived in the violent world of right-wingism when a labor-union leader was murdered in his home by neo-nazis. After this happened, Stieg Larsson began to write detective novels in his home at night, while working at Expo during the day.
