When Psychic Cassie Neill fails in saving the life of a
little girl from serial killer she decides that she can’t help the police
anymore and decides to leave Los Angeles. When Cassie is informed that her aunt
left her property in Ryan’s Bluff, North Carolina she decides that the small
town is the perfect place to get some peace.
Unfortunately that peace doesn’t last long as she begins
connecting telepathically with a man who is planning to murder a young woman.
Because she isn’t able to get mush information she can’t tell exactly who the
man is so she decides to talk with s Sheriff Matt Dunbar and Judge Ben Ryan who
are hesitant to believe that Cassie knows this information because she is psychic,
but when she tells them that the man murdered the young woman and where to find
her body they begin to believe Cassie’s claims of being psychic.
With more psychic visions of murders the police begin to
fear the worst and when more women turn up dead the police realize they have a
serial killer in the town. The town begins to try and guard all the young women
by pairing them up and having men guard them. Still the serial killer keeps
killing and they search for clues as to the killer is.
Suddenly FBI agent Noah Bishop turns up in town and offers
to help the police catch the killer. When Sheriff Matt Dunbar’s girlfriend is
captured they catch a break in the case and find out the killer is Mike Shaw or
When everyone is happy that the killer is caught they find
out that Cassie’s past has come back to haunt her and both Ben’s and Cassie’s
life is in danger.
This book was a great romantic suspense novel.
