The famous five is a book series that comprises 5 teenager cousins who solve mysteries and catch criminals.They are rewarded medals from the police for their bravery.There is excitement in every chapter of the books and you never get bored reading the books.Some elements of the stories remain unclear at the start of some chapters but later at the end , they all make sense.The books are written in good English;eye-catching adjectives and adverbs are used and the stories are easy to understand.This series is almost exactly like "The secret seven book series" except that the characters in the famous five series are older and the mysteries are also more complex.
Further more , the teenagers act like detectives;they sometimes draw the shapes of important footprints in the snow that belong to criminals or the enemies.The main reasons as to why these books are so thrilling are that the mysteries are very interesting and you can not guess what is lying beneath them;they are also solved cleverly by the famous five.In some books , one or two of the teenagers or other friends of the famous five get caught and the rest of the band has to save them , which again increases the atmospheric excitement.
The best parts of the books protrude when important discoveries are made by the five which give them better meaning of what is happening or when they are successful at doing something that will help them get further.
