The Scary Haunted Mansion

Tom liked old Gothic mansions ever since he was a little kid growing up in Conneticut, looking at pictures on the internet, he even chased-down the mansions location, but he never imagined going to a haunted mansion this is all going to change, his friends' and him plan on doing some ghost hunting by themselves this Halloween and Dunnellen Hall in Greenwich, Connecticut is a perfect place to go.

Packing his car with a weekend long trip in which he brings along a recorder and digital camera, you never know, he thinks to himself, 'he might run into the ghost that lives at the scary haunted mansion', shutting the trunk to his car takes off to his friend Mikes house then over to Ken's house, leaving their small town to drive to Greenwich Village Connecticut a hours drive south from where there at.

Mike looks over at Ken smiling, he has never been to a haunted mansion before and the idea of the weekend trip excited him, he watched on the DVD player a movie about Dunnellen called "A Lovely Way to Die,'' starring Kirk Douglas but this is much better, he will get the first hand look at the place Miss Helmsley spent the last days' of her life before passing away, saying. "How are we going to get into this mansion?"

Tom gives Mike a long side look and says "I have my way."

"You mean you're going to break in."

"I don't see this as breaking in instead I see it as Home Steading for a couple of days'"

Tom drives on stopping at a gas station to fill up and get supplies for the rest of the trip, this includes candles, a flash light and some toiletry, Pulls two twenties from his wallet, grimaces a second, grabs the goods from off the counter and loads the things into the trunk and gets back in the car and gets back on the road, Dunnellen Hall is only another thirty minutes away, he can't wait until he drives down the drive way.

A half hour later and night time at The Dunnellen Hall mansion, moon light allows them to see the massive mansion with the gables with the look of wealth and priviledge But things are going to turn for the worst for the three friends' at the entry way Tom hears a loud burst and his side of the car goes flat down, followed by a louder noise of rubber slapping the pavement, he stops the car and gets out, not to his surprise the back rear tire is shredded to pieces.

"You didn't check the car out before leaving?"Ken says. "You were too involved in the mansion to do something that simple." nudges Tom shoulder with his own when walking by.

Tom pops the trunk open hands Mike the flash light and batteries and snatches out the bags and equipment and lifts out the spare tire. "Look I have a spare that works." Sets it against the car and pulls out the jack for the first time since owning the car and sets it under the car with a quick adjustment, he takes the crow bar and begins cranking the handle.

"Here let me help!" Mike says. Hands Ken the flash light "go make yourself usefull!" Raises the back rear tire off of the round, flips the crow bar around and begins breaking loose the lug nuts one at a time, slowly using his hand to re-move the lug nut from the belt and takes off the tire and grabs the new tire and slaps it on and begins tightening the lug nuts until tightened, lowers the car and puts the spare tire back in the trunk and throws the bags and equipment back in the trunk.
