The Book of Magic Finally there is a reasonable and good researched Reference Book to the topics Magic and Witchcraft. As a teacher of a small group of witches at a School for Witches. I am very pleased and thankful and my students are very happy to use it as a text book. The book is 144 pages, it's a bit small but oho! Already by flipping through the pages gives you the desire for looking and reading the book. THE BOOK OF MAGIC (From Abracadabra to charm herbs) is the first Volume from seven within the "Magic Row" of vgs- PRO 7- edition from the authors, magicians and musicians Yan d'Albert. This work is not only an extensive and comprehensible encyclopedia with over 500 important terms and more than 50 illustrations. It also comprises about fundamental practical exercises which leads to an easy accesable advisor within the magic. Thus it offers a solid basis on the way to your own magical being. This book is even suitable for beginners, as terms are well written and very easy to understand. The reader will find i.e. the most significant magical personality, tables of jewelleries, herbs, oils, magical plants, trees and animals, witchcraft recipes, a caledar for holidays, guidance for exercises, mdeitations, rituals and much more. Critics are occassionally loud and Yan d'Albert's books of magic are too commercially opened. I ask myself, why this accusation? Just because of further books and music cds of the authors are going to be advertised? Or because the books appear on television on PRO 7 advertises of the series CHARMED, SABRINA TOTALLY VERHEXT and BUFFY? But it is legitimately and in particular the last one is to my liking.
Yan d'Albert carries thereby an enormously important and valuable explanatory work for children and young people, who have a distorted picture and to believe that with magic everything is possible. I put this book from my heart to all TV-mystery damaged. As inside you will find out the truth of magic and witchcraft. Yan d'Albert has dedicated himself for over 20 years with this topic and since 1996 gives seminars for magic and sperituals. The fact that the publisher let six further volume of the BOOK of Magic does not have under any circumstances only commercial reasons; it confirms also the large experience and speciallized authority of the author. The Book of Magic - all in all; it is described in details, very interesting and beautifully arranged, very well and very informative. So this charmful book should not be missing in any magic and withcraft libraries.
