It was a rainy & thundering day . There was a horror and silence on each and every corner of St Remy De Provence . This was the day when Nostradamus , born at noon on December 14, 1503 . He was a great astrologer , which shows a great interest in astrology from an early age. He studied medicine and healed many people stricken by plague , which was at that time endemic in South France . His Prophetic power begins to manifest themselves while he was still a young man . After 1550 he produced a yearly Almanac& by 1555 he had completed the first part of his book of Prophesis that were to contain a prediction from time to the end of the world . His few famous prediction were , French revolution 1789 , Fates of children of Catherine de'' Medici & Henry II , Second world war , Battle of waterloo 1815 , Napolean at St. Halena , Hitler and France , Death of Henry II and III , League of nation , Air Battle of 2oth century , Battle of Trafalgar 1805 , America in Vietnam , Death of Indira and Rajiv Gandhi , Although he wrote all the things to be happened in past but his poems would be understood after the incident happened One cannot judge his prediction before the incident because the of time variation In order to avoid Prosecution as a magician , Nostradamus writes that he delibrately confused the time sequence of the Prophesis so that their secrets would not be revealed to the non-initiate .
His fame spread rapidly , Queen Catherine de'' Medici asked him to write the horroscope of her seven children , which caused himsome problem as he had alredy foretold the tragic fate in the prophesis . All the ingredients for magical are in this quatrain . It is night . Nostradamus is alone in his study reading the secret forbidden books which inspire his prophecies ; the brass tripod is a method used by Iambilichus - as it was placed a bowl of water into which he sees the gazed until the water become cloudy and the picture of the future will revealed .
