This has to be close to a
spy cum
literature classic if ever there was one. The Perfect Spy is the story of a highly successful spy who''s
childhood turns him into an extraordinary traitor. We follow the spy from childhood with a conman father and his usage of women to his graduation into espionage and treason all guided ( and fathered ) by his
character which he has, of course, inherited. John Le Carre takes the function of a novel, being the portrayal of a character, into a spy adventure well worth reading. Lovers of literature and the nature of spies will find this book a permanent part of their ensemble.
