Many people go for Western
Philosophy. Indian
occult and Indian philosophy are hard to master. But the depth is interim.Yes! I am relating Philosophy with occult. Philosophy may be cited as a logical subconscious explanations. Whereas, Occult is based on these philosophical bases. Through ages, various questions had been raised regarding the
life after death. Swami Abhedananda of the popular Ramakrishna Mission has explained the destination of
souls after they get relaed from a cage made of bones, flesh and blood!
Science tells that
body is the creator of soul. But Swamiji argues that we need definite proofs behind each argument. As per the Production theory, Combination Theory, Transmission theory body creates soul and soul is the combination between various intellects and intengence. But none of the theorists have been able to justify a valid reason behind the creation of life and souls on this earth and even how a soul can be created from a body of flesh and blood!
Swamiji opines that these theorists try to define their ideas by relating the effect with the cause and not vice versa. The case is similar to tying up a
carriage in front of a
horse instead of tying up a horse in front of a carriage. Here, the horse should act as the reason behind the movement of a carriage rather than carriage being the reason behind the movement of the horse. I am saying this, because these theorists argue the existance of life and soul from life and soul itself- from a mother''s womb!
The book explains the existance of a life after death. Souls are indestructable. These souls may return to fulfill their wishes which they could not do when they had a life on Earth. A technique called Ectoplasm can bring back and prove their existances in front of this living world. After going throgh this book, it can be concluded that death cannot destroy souls, one soul when releases from a particular body will search for another resting place and reason to maintain its identity, the same soul will be carrying itself in different spheres in different clothes and get- ups.
