the story is about Alex Rider (who else could it be?), a 14-year-old kid orphan had just found out that his uncle (which
is also his only guardian) is death. suddenly, he found himself involved into MI6 the british secret agent his first assignment is to spy on Herod Sayle, a sucessful millionaire that somehow agreed on donating stormbreaker (the most technological computer) to every school in England. MI6 think that there's something behind Sayle's kindness and Alex should found out using only some gadgets and false ID.
i must say that the story is great, especially for those who love suspense/ detective stories and also action novels. me myself isn't really a fan of action genre novel but the detailness of the story and the complicated yet easy to understand plot is great. but compare to the other books of the series, stormbreaker isn't a really satisfying one. somehow, it seems that the author is 'dragging' the story and in some parts, it's a little boring.
