This book by John Grisham is his best work up till date.It is simply mind blowing with its extreme suspense and legal intelligence.The story starts with the death of a man due to usage of tobacco,his wife sues the tobacco company .A small group of very powerful and influential cigarette companies join forces to defend their names and their reputation. Together, they form"The Fund" ,a seemingly unending ocean of money intended to defeat cases like these.Both the sides hire lawyers with the defense getting the best of lawyers due to their unlimited money power.What starts as a normal case becomes one of the most contested cases of all times.A mysterious woman meets the defense and reveals that she controls one of the jurors who in turn can control the rest,this leads to crosses and double crosses till the very end .It ends with a shocking climax which you will you will never forget.
