Book Review by: MaryCassells

Original Author: Ian Rankin

Three friends meet up in a art show in Edinburgh.  They cook up what seems to be the perfect crime - take some
original pictures from the art gallery and exchange them with some fakes.  It all seems so easy but is it?  Throughout the book the plot gets more tangled with more people involved.  One doesn't know until the end and even then one wonders.  This is the first Ian Rankin book I have read.  I really enjoyed it and will look for some other books written by him.
