Siddha, the Supernatural Man : Science has been a fascinating subject for all ages. Eversince
the human evolved, every move of his life style has been a scientific theory. The author of ‘From the pages of ages’ has dealt in depth the essence of mankind, science and religion. Spiritual part also plays its role in connecting the nuances of all these.
This can be metaphysical or abstrat or spirutual or exact science. The book speaks about the basic lying principles of man becoming a
supernatural man through yogic powers and ‘Siddhi’. Attainment of Ashtma siddhi is the mastering of eight level miracles. All the ancient siddhas of India have
performed them and attained the supreme powers of materialization and dematerialization.
Any human who has attained this level can float on air, walk on water, sit on fire, breathe through eyes, smell through ears, expand to occupy the universe and also reside inside a mustard seed or experience the feel within an ant’s mouth. The astral eye or the third eye at the junction of the eyebrows when properly tuned can have a vision of anything happening even beyond few kilometers from the vicinity. This was called as the ‘Drushti’.
The author has had an experience of witnessing the above feats performed by the siddhas. The fascinating mystery of astonishing acts is truly beyond the scope of physics and normal reasoning power. The chapters speak on the Mind-body relation, the psychic triggers, astro-geo concepts, Science and religion, Medicine and religion etc. The general concept as devised for the Siddhi attainment is the resurrection on the third day of death. This can be cited from the life history of Jesus Christ who performed all these feats and the disciples have recorded in the Bible. This is a proof that Jesus Christ lived on this earth and lived for the human beings. The same matter has been discussed in a book called 'Bavishya Puranam' authored by Vyasa. Adam and Eve were known as Adhaman and Havyamavathi. Jesus who was crucified was the 'Hiranyagarbha' as per the Vedas.
In his book, he cites the words of Swami Yogananda who often describes the 'Christ-Christna consciousness'.
Human soul is a bundle of thoughts with various manifestations to take in every birth. Every soul is conserved in nature. Souls can neither be created nor destroyed but can be transformed into one another or ultimately reunite with the supreme oneness. The rituals and practices performed by the human beings are well recorded right from the ancient ages known and unknown to us. Jesus points out this concept of the soul's rebirth into another body in the verse 'This is Elija, the John to come; those who haveth ears may hear'. Since Jesus was a siddha himself, he has rightly hinted the clue of John and the rebirth of Elija.
The well known Veda Vyasa (who dictated Mahabaratha to the scribe Lord Ganesha) of India in his Bavishya Purana has explained in details the birth of Christ, his career, the siddhis he will attain, his ultimate fate, his oneness with the supreme power and resurrection on the third day. This resurrection is the qualifying grade for all Siddha purushas as per the vedic text. So it is beyond doubt that Jesus was himself a siddha who learnt all the miracles from the 18 siddhas mentioned in the Indian geneology of Sidhha cult.
This book review is a bird’s eye view of the essence of the happenings under religious philosophies and hypothesis. It is quite true and one has to accept that many acts performed by a Siddha saint cannot be fathomed from a normal ground level. It has to be enjoyed by raising one’s level of mental being to a supreme level of spiritual mind-power.
