The Name of the Rose

   Step into the realm of a mysterious medieval abbey as the narrator takes you on a journey you won''t forget. 
This young monk-in-training follows his mentor to an abbey ahead of a summit to discuss heresies that are plaguing the religious sects.  Upon arival they are thrust into the confusions and secrecy of a strange death.  While the death was thought to be suicide, more and more odd happenings and secrets begin to reveal that something evil is amiss.  Soon another murder is committed, then another as the monks are thrown in an upheavel, not know who can be trusted.
   William, the mentor, is a man of high esteem.  He uses logic and astute observation skills to crack the mystery by discovering a strange book.  Of course as the enterage of the Bishop arives for the summit, the mysteries of the previous nights must lay on the backburner, but the strange deaths do not stop.  
   This book is a thrilling mystery causing one to continually guess who the culprit is.  As the story comes to a climax, new twists and turns arise.  The characters are forced to overcome dark secrets, crawl through terrifying passage ways, and crack codes to uncover the secrets of the Abbey.  The narrator writes this story looking back on his life and the experiences of this week long nightmare.
