ARABIC TALE « Les Mille et une nuits… » Vol.1 Antoine Galland

Summary

A King, Schahriar, is so deceived and overwhelmed by the unfaithfulness of the Queen, his wife that he killed her when she was sleeping with her lover. Then the King decided to kill all the women he’ll marry in the future, the morning after the wedding night. He started and executed this horrible pattern many many times until the daughter of his Vizir (kind of Prime Minister) decided to become his wife. She, Scheherazade, reckless, bright and beautiful will manage to report on and on, her death sentence, to the morning after, by telling to the Sultan her husband, a marvellous tale; every night.
