Mahabharat is a great
philosophical treatise by Indian sage,Veda Vyasa.
It literally means, the great Indian war!
Mahabharat depicts war behind two great dynasties-Kauravas and Pandavas.
While, the former denotes corrupt practices, the latter denotes virtuous lifestyles.
Mahabharat asks a great philosophical question-should life adhere to morals or take the easly recourse.
This great story takes us to great war of minds-simple or corrupt, humane and inhumane!
Vedavyasa, a great scholar wrote it in down with the help of Lord Ganesha, the god of wisdom.
Vyasa
explains this eighteen day long war fought in Kurushestra ,in easy but also spiritual prose.
He tries to pin point futility of voilence, hatred and avarice.
Vyasa explains that some time,we must shed our simple attitude for the sake of righteousness.
For example, Sri Krishna ,the cosmic god , exhorts his passive friend, arjuna to fight against corrupt relatives whose wrongdoings were against Rajdharma( right behaviour of rulers).
Mahabharat is particularly known for Srimad Gita, the song of God,where Krishna ,the teacher motivates his inactive friend cum disciple to act without any passion!
This great saga can only be experienced and cannot be retold by mere human mind!
